Whew, finally finished moving. I now have a garage! Things will be getting done much quicker now. New parts going in this week:
Condor (silence) motor and tranny mounts.
Alpina 2.7 chip
And I'm trying to decide on a new color. It's primered right now. I'm leaning toward a darker grey.
Also now that I have an e34 daily I can work more steadily as well.Comment

got the alpina chip in and the power from this chip and the 2.7i is awesome. I'm really impressed.Comment

I think my erratic idle was caused by my oil pressure sensor wire being disconnected. got that back on. was trying to replace the driver's side sway linkage but... apparently the wheel is stuck on. not through all of my hammering could I get it off. oh well loaded it up on liquid wrench so I'll get at it in the morning.
also found this picture from my mount swap.

Ooo just picked up three boxes of cool stuff and two black sports seats from a really cool local member (fl318is). Now I won't feel dumb dying my carpets black and still having tan seats. Plus a wireless entry module (which I was never planning on getting) but now I might as well get some keys and have them coded for it! I wonder how much that would cost me though....Last edited by squidmaster; 12-11-2012, 03:49 PM.Comment

The paint was so rough before. I should have taken the time to strip it to metal before painting instead of just sanding. It didn't turn out so great, but at least it looks better than the rust and chunks of paint missing.Comment

Thanks for the compliment. IMHO, all my cherished stuff went to a great E30 man. Been reading your progress. Good shit going on bro. Keep us all updated and motivated!!
I moved. Lets do a pull and pay run. PM when time permits and don't loose contact.Comment

new pictures! I need to take the paint to get finished and wet sanded, but it's not looking too bad right now! busy schedule so finding time is getting harder and harder. at least I have two weeks before 13 hour-day classes start up again.Comment

Condor RTABs went in. I could not believe how difficult they were to get back into the brackets. Sliding the bushings in was just a few hits, but it took hours to get it between the brackets.
Any suggestions for getting them in easier than hammering at my trailing arm in awkward positions?
