Very cool write-up/build. I am going 2.7 stroker + a similar turbo and will keep in touch with the results. IMPRESSIVE!

Slight bump from the dead, but great build and impressive numbers! I love the fact that your car seems: 1) daily-driver reliable, 2) you've kept basically stock internals.

My question regards O-ringing the block, was it necessary for high-boost application? Or was it done more as a preventive measure?

Since it's a DD what kind of mileage do you get?

theres no modification need for that mounting position is there?

i oringed it as a preventive measure, but in a way it is necessary for higher boost levels...you need to do something to keep it all together over a certain psi. i went with orings and arps because it is very good protection at a very good cost.

as far as milage goes, i never really keep track day to day. also i try to keep the needle above 1/4, and i dont usually fill up all the way because the car sits low as is. the last time i took a long road trip i went with an e30 caravan from northern virginia to philadelphia, to another meetup spot in pa and back. ~400 mile trip. i calculated it and it ended up being roughly 24mpgs, thats with some aggresive driving including bursts to 140mph lol. thats all highway driving and when i had the 2.93 diff, so low cruising rpms.

its all in the tune, how rich it runs and how well your enigine runs makes all the difference. but fuel milage should not be in your head if your going turbo lol

I feel like a jerk off asking about suspension with an engine set up like yours, but you already know how kick ass your turbo set up is.
My question has to do with running your bilsteins and ie springs with e90 drop hats. Do you find yourself bottoming out with that set up? I heard that running e90 drop hats with sport shock/spring set up results in bottoming out because of the less travel you have in the sport shocks, unless you had them revalved, of course.

Very nice, this thread might be the only reason why I would want to keep my M20... and boost it.
