Is it at all bad to delete the spring pads? Metal on metal? I don't think it would make a huge difference, just wondering.

All its going to do is increase noise, and cause the paint on both surfaces to wear off.

I have confidence it is well within my ability, but I've sized up and played with the bumper on the M3 in my driveway... Its going to take a HUGE AMOUNT of modification to make it fit properly, but I can do it.

my advice on spring pads - don't remove them. it's extremely annoying to have the rear springs click all the damn time. You're much better off ordering the thin pads from the dealer and using those. or maybe cutting up the pads so the springs can't move around. Anyway TJ also has experience with this, he put his back on (I haven't yet).

Yeah, I imagine the rears would clack alot. Thats why I left them in. The fronts are constantly compressed against the seat/hat so they dont clack.

Yes the entire car was repainted lachssilber inside, out, and everywhere in between. However it needs to go back to the paintshop and have some of their fuckups corrected. There are ALOT of imprefections I don't like.

because u built that car from the ground up, why did u decide to go with the m20 rather than something a little more beefy like an m50 or s50? are u going for the classic e30 powerplant?

I have many plans for the motor. Just not important right now. My m20 is plenty modded for now. I need to get the car on the road, and get rid of the e36 M3.
