spal fans make a huge difference

also gotta remember a s52 is 2 less cylinders making heat at idle

oh yeah, apparently alot of legit race cars don't even have radiator fans, apparently once you get up to speed the fans actually become a big restriction

not to say you shouldn't have fans, that'd be dumb on a car driven on the street, but i'd stick with just one 14 or 16" fan and let the ram air setup do the rest of the work

i imagine it'd be pretty easy with some sheet, a little stock and a hinge for the mount at the floor. can you weld aluminum though? not sure how else i'd attach the sleeve for the throttle linkage

Aluminum pedal would be cake to make.......hmmmmm..... add a foot hook to it as well.

Just be careful with aluminum......I've been welding for a long time but this was a first for me while tig welding....

I was welding a coolant bung onto this KA24 manifold......filler balled....enough for it to break free and explode on the inside of my shoe....

              and this morning....

Needless to say I can't wear a shoe on that foot without extreme pain.

I did finish welding that bitch out barefoot though...... #hardcore.

Yup bruised the shit out of both knees as I flung them up into the bottom of my welding bench haha. somehow the cup on the torch didn't break as it crashed into the concrete.

                      Also-

I wouldn't screw with the bracket either if I didn't have one to make a copy from.

Whats your fuel system going to look like? Is this going to stay N/A, plans for boost?

i think i may pick up a fuel cell... e30 tank is pretty old and dirty, and beat up from being
                        so low

i left enough room for it in the trunk, ill fab up a surge tank myself, i want to turbo eventually but that just seems so far away i dont want to think about it, im going to miss the sounds from under the hood on the m20 turbo
