    New ACS on the M3

When I was a teenager working for 4.25/hour I would bring along the AC Schnitzer catalog where ever I went and drooled over the cars. The E30 M3 in particular with the 3pc ACS. Sadly, the only thing I could afford was the grill emblem and ACS rep wheels.

20 years later...I saw a rare set of ACS type 1's refinished exactly how I would have done them so I had a YOLO moment and bought em. When I searched, I couldn't even find a pic of ACS Type 1 17x9 and 17x10 on an M3 and wasn't sure if it would work but it does. =]

    Here they are...17x9 et6, 17x10 et19 AC Schnitzer type 1

It fits nearly perfect. I did have slight rubbing in the rear under compression so I rolled the fenders. All is good now.

One step closer to achieving this look...

Updated: Got some ACS mirrors to complete the look. Unlike the other mirrors these are fully motorized with glass.

        Those are great looking wheels.

...and I'm a picky bastard about what wheels look correct on an E30!

What I like about this setup is that they are staggered but they don't look staggered. I don't like when there's a tiny lip in front and huge lip in the rear. Thanks guys.

                Christian,

I have always liked ACS but they are expensive and I was happy with my Epsilon's and Style 5's. I know that these will just get harder and harder to find so that's why I jumped on them and they are a very rare setup so it was perfect.

Nice Barry. I see you went with AC Schnitzer wheels, ACS mirrors and badge. To finish the exterior you need to find yourself AC Schnitzer mono wiper.
