Still here living the troubled m20 life. I have a pretty bad stutter as it revs past 4/4500 rpms but I've learned to live with it. It's not like Im doing any road racing or autox right now. I'll get around to typing up how the end of the year with my car has been once I get around to fixing it.

I did just hit my two years of ownership the other day!!!

Thanks! Don't worry the 200 mark will be broken here eventually. I'm not giving up just yet. I've enjoyed staying with the m20 but that's also an innocent me since I've never experienced the m30/s5x/ls world (which would be my choice if I did it again).

Haven't clicked on this thread in a longgg time. Nice work man! I'm also pretty surprised with your HP numbers, around 200 would have been my guess. Maybe if the person who did your last dyno brought the RPM's to 5500ish you would have got the 200hp mark. Props for keeping the M20 rather then doing the normal s52 swaps we see everyday!

Some iPhone picture update time. So I had been planning on going to H20i back at the beginning of the month and was prepping by painting my vent cowls, wiper arms, and headlight rings. Small changes but it made a nice difference. However the day before I was suppose to leave I blew out my rear hard lines. No trip for me and instead I got to run new lines. First time doing brake lines but I think for the most part I got it. One small very minor drip from a fitting that Ill get around to eventually. My flares aren't the best. New sunroof seal too.

As in my last post I got a set of square headlights from a friend. He was using HID conversion so his wiring is different and let me use these to be different for awhile. I also got a new plastic lip and painted it black so it looks fresh (but its held on with zipties). Slowly but surely my cars coming along.

The local Pepboys had a dyno at their car show today so I figured why not toss the car on it. I told the guy to take it to 6800-7000 but he let off at 5000 because he said it felt weird. Watching it from the side, it sounded normal and driving home it had no problem going to 7k so I don't know what was up with him. Anyways I scanned and uploaded the graph...

    192hp with 202ft/lb lifting at 5000 rpms!

That's an awesome surprise! You can understand my disappointment when I originally only saw 182 when I expected over 200.

haha I try to stay optimistic, the rewards are that much sweeter. When I went to dyno my M52 I was hoping for 200whp, thought I saw 206 initially when I looked at the graph, but that was the torque #... Then I saw 225whp and then it was party time!!

Engine update... turns out the breakup in the dyno graph was caused by the CPS being too far away. Stock spec does not cut it, I moved it closer and the car revs powerfully up to 7300!!!!! Unsure if I would still need larger injectors but this change with the CPS made a huge difference and the car is even that much more wild to drive.

Drove 6 hours to Lake Ontario so here's a couple pics from that vacation, nothing special...

Three people and 4 days worth of stuff, no problem.

^I liked it enough to be going back lol. Already thinking about getting dedicated autocross wheels and tires for next year.
