I would agree on the ugly statement, although they are actually pretty comfortable. im going to pull them out and get some leather iS seats. my plans for the car are lowering it (depending on the budget either Bilstein sports/H&R Race, or Ground Control coils), new wheels (maybe some nice weaves per F43R's recommendation), then an M30/S52 swap (leaning towards M30 right now)
Yea ive always been a fan of the Hennas, so when I saw this one I had to jump on it. Ill be sure to take good care of herOriginally posted by flyboyxhow about if i yank the anal beads out of your ass like i'm trying to pull start a chain saw?Originally posted by Northernbeer is my new liver cleanse.

Also adjust your e break. It needs adjustment as i can see in the pics, pulled up real high.
Also like said earlier get a stock air box, and throw a K&N air filter in the stock housing (they make direct fitments), that's about the best set up you can have IMO

Good plans. I'm probably going to sell you on this but I'd go with the m30 over the s52. The s52 engine alone can be almost 3k and then you got to get the parts for the swap and they only make 225hp. The m30 on the other hand can be had cheep I picked up my m30b34 complete with tranny and all accessories including the radiator harness etc for 300 bucks. You can swap a m30 in for under 1200 easily and the make like 215hp so really the m30 is the best bang for your buck. Also not to mention with the s52 you have to do OBDII conversion. While m30 is pretty much plug and play and play. Frank m makes a very very detailed write up on the m30 swap down to the part numbers and problems you might run into. It's your car though so don't let me make your mind though I'm simply telling you the best options.I would agree on the ugly statement, although they are actually pretty comfortable. im going to pull them out and get some leather iS seats. my plans for the car are lowering it (depending on the budget either Bilstein sports/H&R Race, or Ground Control coils), new wheels (maybe some nice weaves per F43R's recommendation), then an M30/S52 swap (leaning towards M30 right now)Comment

My buddy said hed sell me his S52 for $1500 incuding harness and ECU (as an excuse to buy an S54 for his e36 M3) and the S52 makes 240hp. but im keeping my option open, because I wont be doing my swap till the summertime atleast.Good plans. Idk why I was thinking 225 lol. For 1500 that's a good deal. How many miles does it have? If its a good motor I'd do that just cause I love 24v e30's.Comment

I know he wouldn't but I know right around the 200k mark is when s52's get tired and could use a rebuild. Only thing you would have to do is check that the maintenance parts have been done.Comment

I just texted him and he said 173k. He said it still pulls really well. obviously not like new, but shes not lacking a whole lot of power. He said it wont need a rebuild for another 100k or so. and I have no reason not to believe him. He said theres some stuff hed do while the motors out like rod bearings and headers etc. nothing that needs to be done, just some stuff that's easier with the car out.Originally posted by flyboyxhow about if i yank the anal beads out of your ass like i'm trying to pull start a chain saw?Originally posted by Northernbeer is my new liver cleanse.

Shit for 1500 I'd still take it. Once you got it (if you get it) you could replace other misc parts while your prepping your car for the swap and it probably go for a long time.I just texted him and he said 173k. Yea, if I go for the S52 ill have to wait till more like Christmas time. he said august is a stretch because hes busy with getting his degree and stuff and doesn't have the time to do a swap. but if I buy an M30, I can do it over the summer time and have it ready for next school year. so im not havin to do a swap over a long weekend. but ill have time during Christmas break to do it as wellOriginally posted by flyboyxhow about if i yank the anal beads out of your ass like i'm trying to pull start a chain saw?Originally posted by Northernbeer is my new liver cleanse.

I vote m30 then plus if you ever want to go FI(forced induction) the m30 is a beast with a turbo.Comment

The good thing is i only payed 1400 for the car (after budgeting 2000) so I'm almost half way to a swap if I ignore suspension and wheels. I'm currently leaning towards an M30 cuz I can get one in June and pull it apart to make sure everything's good and have it in the car by August.
