Those studs.... that sucks. What a dumbass PO.

As for ducting, I cannot see what you mean by that picture?

Also, get a nice M tech 1 steering wheel. It changes the whole interior look and feel. I love them.

      +1 on Mtech I
Looks great, and I've always liked BMWs 3 spoke design wheels over the 4 spoke ones.

      Those studs though...
I'd be pretty pissed; those don't look like they were even holding anything; that's a huge safety liability..

The air conditions returns user the seat, where the AC unit pulls the air. The carpet is cut and idk if that's why

Almost 100% sir I have had that ducting in both of my cars. Both rare early models also.

But my ducts don't come out of the carpet... The SE30 had ones that came out ( it was an 88 )

Bob (iflytii) did a great job building the cage. If you guys have any cage/rollbar work y'all are looking to get done. Go to him, he does amazing work.

A little update for you guys, ran up to autozone yesterday and picked up some Duplicolor Trim Paint (per jhaurimn's recommendation), and today I masked everything off and just gave it the first coat. Gonna pull the tape off tomoro and push it out into the driveway and take some pics to show you guys.

How's the paint adhering? If it doesn't stick well, you can do it over again by sanding the trim with some 200-400 grit sand paper.

Also, make sure you mask off more of your car next time. You do not want to get overspray on your henna paint or your windshield.

Paint is sticking alright... But there's an even worse problem now

This is after trying to rub/scratch it off... It was like a dollop of paint about 6in long and 2.5in wide... No idea how it got there, rubbed some low concentrated mineral spirits to see if it'll pull it off... No luck.... Don't know where to go from here

rub it with just a touch of laquer thinner.

Don't worry too much about that paint spill. Grab some paint thinner and dilute it with water then rub the spot out. Then just wax and polish the spot after it's removed. Or try "Goof-Off".

                                Acetone

Normally, I would apply Acetone and it will remove it quickly but this is henna and my understanding is that there is no clearcoat on henna, so proceed with caution. You dont want to remove the paint entirely!

                                You should be fine.

If it were my car, I would apply black paint on the lower part of the car on purpose in an area where you literally can NOT see it and let it dry and then try to remove it with
Acetone...if that works, go ahead and apply to the area of real concern. I rather practice first before going all out.
