    RJ's 1989 E30 325iX

I have never owned an E30. I've owned an E36 and an E24.

I dropped by mechanic's shop, Paddock Import and asked Doug what he thought about the iXs. He said, "I've got one here that the original owner wants to sell."

158k Miles, 5 speed. White on Natural Vinyl. Meticulous records.

This is how it set when I first saw her a month ago:

Here she is next to my buddy Jim's M535i this past Sat. Just put new front stock springs and Bilstein HDs all around:

Other things I've done in the first month:
Kenwood head unit w Focal 2 way speakers
    M Tech Steering wheel
    Z3 Antenna setup
    Claybar/Polish/Wax

I still need to shampoo the carpets and clean up the interior. But at least no cracked dash!

Yosemite, but yeah by the old Great Indoors. Not nearly as big turnout as the Lafayette/Boulder meet.

Very nice! Always pays to ask the mechanic what he's got kicking around...

Ahh you're right haha. I'll chock that mistake off to the fact I haven't really been in the Colorado area much in the past year heh. I've never gone to the Lafayette c&c. Definitely planning on checking it out this summer.

Nice IX. You're lucky to have just stumbled across that car. It's becoming increasingly difficult to find clean, two door, 5 speed 325ix's.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

One of the cleanest IX models I've ever seen! I like that it's a 2-door and in Alpine. Congrats!
