im kindof at a loss to what i should even do with this car.

after the roof im finding more and more bondo on the car.

theres a pretty good patch in front of the passenger rear tire that looked funny up close so i took off the rear panel from inside the car, and you can tell that it was dented in and replaced and filled with this crap.

basically lost all hope on having a nice car when the chassis is so rough.

Does anyone do poly control arm bushings? I threw a set in for the hell of it. Was gonna go poly sway bar bushings but didn't have $$ so I got oem and some new end links

I did poly bushings in the rear, and it's really not bad, barely a noticeable difference, if any, honestly. I'll second what nando said, get some Konis in the rear, and your ride will probably improve. I've never had Konis, but based on what I've read, they offer a much better ride quality than the Bilsteins.

going from blown/cut stock springs to these is quite a dramatic change, maybe im just not used to a stiff ride yet. also every bushing in this car is poly, some of which the P.O installed when the swap was done. so thats going to add to stiffness/vibratons too.
Lolol I did the same poly all the way.. same with gutted interior. My cars in bits all over the house though hahaha so it will be a while until i get to see how my suspension hold up.

GC coils, Koni yellows in the front and bilsteins in the rear.
bought used/new(not a scratch on them) from a member here. No camber plates. the last thing on my list too.

i was told the spring rates are 375 front and 475 rear. which sounds stupid soft. but they are actually very stiff and maybe was a typo on the P.Os part.

the ride is almost too stiff for me, im considering selling them and throwing H&R race springs on.

im all the way slammed on the coils in the front, on un-shortened housings. never bottomed out yet, although i rarely drive the car on bad roads. and have never rubbed.

and about three threads up in the rear on the adjuster.

Get konis in the rear, i bet your ride quality improves. Those rates are pretty mild.

i have some H&R springs in my pile of parts, they must be sports then.

but ill probably just end up keeping the GC's on because it doesn't bother me enough.

If you think those spring rates are too stiff, you're not gonna like the H&R Race.
