make sure they're locked into place and twist the adjusters. they can be kinda stiff at first but they'll give eventually. mine were very hard to turn when i first installed mine. takes quite a few threads turned to see any movement as well. also, make sure your 25ft from a wall (or thereabouts) and that the car is level.

      hope that helps.

Is the spiky post on the upper outside corner supposed to be adjustable?

Alright so it looks like the 55w HIDs that I installed yesterday with the Headlights are causing problems. Last night the Fuel Relay burnt out and tonight the headlights won't turn on. Fuses aren't blown but I imagine the low beam relay might be fried.

Anyone have any experience with this?

55w HIDs are unnecessary. 35w is the max wattage i would ever run. The higher wattage yields a negligible increase in brightness anyway, especially in the depo projectors. With 55w kits you run the risk of not only burning up your wiring harness but burning the reflector bowls inside the projector rendering the extra wattage useless since the reflective surface will be ruined.

Also, a quality 35w kit, like Morimoto or DENSO or Matsushita, will out-shine a low-grade 55w kit all day.

So the 55w ones are the problem? Any links to the good ones?

This is the kit i am currently running with a canbus H4 harness

                    Some output pics:

This kit has DENSO components and is about as good as it gets for H1 kits.

Another reason to run 35w over 55w is foreground lighting. A 55w kit will produce too much foreground light and actually limit overall sight distance. So trust me when i say a 35w kit is all you need.

I'm just saying I really don't give a shit in a non combative way. Thank you for being one of the good guys.

Thank you for all your help! So is the H4 Harness the one that I want to get for my 3 prong style Low Beam?

OK because the sealed beam type of bulb that was there was the H5006

I think I'll just try putting the stock lamps and everything back in on Sunday after I get the car back home and then wait for that first kit to come in for $150 that you posted the link to.

Hopefully nothing fried. Sounds like the relay is still cracking on and the fuses aren't blown so maybe the cheap ballasts crapped out... both at the same time?
