    Wife's 6 year anniversary present (e30)

So I just bought this 1992 E30 convertible for my wife yesterday for our 6 year anniversary.

All that will be done to this is:
paint it black (my wife isn't a huge fan of the red)
Replace the radio today with one that will accept our iPhones
lower it with H&R Sport springs (1.25 front / .75 rear) and replace the front shocks
Maybe get sway bars depending on how the springs make it handle
    smoked headlights with projectors

I have a couple questions though:

The clutch grabs at the top of the pedal instead of towards the floor. Does that mean it needs to be replaced or does that mean the slave needs to be bled?

The oil cooler thing that sits at the bottom of the valance in front has the drivers side bolt missing that attaches it to the bottom of the front subframe. Is that common?

The wires that run behind the front bumper but in front of the fan, where does the clip for that rest?

And is there anyway to adjust the alignment of the front of the hood to make it level with the fender?

Thanks everyone, here is a photo of it:

              very cool!

im not sure about the clutch, if it grabs good and feels good install a clutch stop so the pedal doesn't go all the way to the floor.

the other ?s are confusing to me

and loosen the bolts holding your hood on and you can physically move your hood to align with you fenders, it was a PITA when i tried to align mine.

              hope someone else can help.

              Edit!

i was going to say something about his wife. lol but i decided against it.
              in for more pics.

I'm not so worried about pushing the clutch down all the way. I'd just rather it catch closer to the bottom (floor) than all the way at the top. I'm going to bleed the slave cylinder tonight and see if that does ANYTHING. HAHAHA

It's cool, she's not a skank so it might be disappointing when all the pictures of her are... you know, not naked. Plus he'll be able to enjoy the photos of our daughter too hahaha.

You may be able to raise the hood to line up with fender at the front edge, but that may raise the hood above the fender further back. Open the hood up and look for the adjusters, there obvious.

With that bent valance on the same side I'd bet your fender is tweaked, Mine is that way. I can match the front edge of the hood to front of fender, or top edge of hood to top edge of fender. Won't do both. My fender is tweaked by a hit in the valance.

My cars front frame horn is slightly bent, I can see the slight crush at the strut tower.
Without getting it pulled at a frame shop, my hood and fender won't line up, looks just like yours.

headlights just ordered and I plan on installing the stereo today....

anyone have a write up on how to take an aftermarket unit out to install a different one? Not the wiring, just taking the unit itself out.
