another e30 m3 story

I too kinda fell into an e30 m3. Don't hate on me this it's all legal !! I got mine off the streets of a very large west coast city . It got pushed into the street by a repair shop that wanted nothing to do with the owner. bad blood, bad words, or not paying the bill ? What I did hear from the shop was that the owner was in jail for drugs . Did not know anymore than that ,did not need to know any more. We towed this m3 off the major city street Before the city's contracted tower picked it up . After getting the car to a safe place we did the title search and than legal lien. Payed the back reg/parking tickets (aprox $750) and retitled into my name. Car is complete , runs, but does need the missing love. I've got that Love . Again don't hate on my, What would You do ? We thought about doing that but decided it was the wrong way to go about it. Regardless of if it was legal or not we didn't want to essentially " steal " the car .

I think you did good. It would have just been auctioned off to somebody who would flip it, or worse, crushed. plus some druggie who owed $750 in parking fines and was sitting in jail probably wasn't going to do anything with the car anyway.
