Thanks everyone! I ditched the mono wiper, I got tired of having to answer people's questions about it! Maybe once I get a real one my explanation will be far more cool!
Also readjusted my seat since I needed to be a bit further away. Clutch knee kept hitting the steering wheel.

What I've done in the past few days.
Removed the kidney grills, sanded off the paint, and used some SEM trim paint on them! Even though they're cracked, it looks much better than before.




Cleaned the door sills and door jams. It was so dirty before, looked pitch black!



Then yesterday I spent the day doing some touchups. Washed the car and removed the wheels to clean away all the break dust. I start wish spraying down the wheels and soak them with wheel cleaner or soapy water. Then, I generally use a scrub brush on the inner barrels and tire sidewalls, toothbrush for the spokes, and microfiber cloth for the lips. Then finish it off with some tire shine foam and wipe away all the excess that gets on the lips with the cloth.
Kind of a pain in the ass considering you have to get in between every spoke with the toothbrush so you really have to invest your time into it, but SO worth it in the end.


While I was doing this and had the wheels off the car, I multitasked and took care of my rocker panels and rear valence. Over time they were looking pretty ugly and worn out. (White paint was poking through). It didn't look clean, so I needed to take care of it! Bought two cans of SEM ruberised undercoating a few months back from another member who had done the same, and let me tell you, I love this stuff! It coats very well and has a satisfying spraying feeling. The texture is nice for these parts of the car since they're already textured and it dries VERY quickly. Like. Half an hour quick.
I masked off the lines where I wanted it to end, and used plastic bags to prevent overspray since I didn't have enough newspaper. Dealing with those in the wind was annoying...



Laid down 2 coats after my adhesion coat (only took me one can!) and pulled off the mask.



Here's what she looked like all back together. So much better with the fresh rockers and valence! And clean wheels :)

Thank you! I appreciate your kind words. As for the banner, it's sort of a little experiment. I wanted to try it out and see how I like it. So far, I like the added sun protection and I'm swayed on the looks.

The kidney grill was just a quick fix. I intend to eventually get a new one to replace this one since it's cracked and the bottom tabs are broken, so I just resprayed it black since the old black paint was chipping. I'm sort of digging the black though, we'll see how things go. :)

Where did you get the new rubber plug for the antenna delete? Again from Ace? I am thinking of doing the same for the black lower trim on my alpine white....

Yeah, no big deal though. His market is one where his customer wants a clean product, one and done no headaches. My DIY is guided to those who are willing to take on a fun weekend project!
The antenna delete plug is from ace! It's s 7/8th soft plastic plug. I don't remember the actual name but it's the one with the 45 degree angles!

Hello! White late model coupe from the bay

Little update guys. Finished with all audio and my trunk! Looked pretty gross before...



Over a 5 month period, it went through a full cleaning, removing all dirt, grime, dust, and anything loose or nasty looking.
Purchased new trunk carpet for the passenger side. Apparently it was for a vert without any battery negative cable cutout so I made the necessary changes and cuts. Also bought a battery cover from a member.



Then, I started on my new flooring!
My girlfriend had some leftover flooring from a home renovation and passed it on to me. Laid it over the 3 ply cutout I made a few weeks back and used wood glue to secure it in place. Roll on subfloor, roll on flooring, adhere, repeat. (Don't worry I made sure to go out of my way to make everything as perfect and straight as possible. Never settle for a cheap job! Do it right the first time, I always say. I was actually bothered by how it didn't fully adhere in certain places near the deep end of the trunk, so I added some glue later on and placed weight on top of it.



The next morning I cutout the flooring and started test fitting! I had to make some modifications but now it fits almost perfectly! If it were to be any tighter, it would be impossible to remove or install. In fact, I already have trouble getting it in and out with the amp in the back.





I'll eventually refinish the battery cover, but that's for a later date. My amp is mounted to the back side of the rear seat in the trunk, and to secure the sub, I used grip tape and a strap to keep it from sliding all over the trunk.

Then, I installed my "old" kenwood head unit I purchased for my wrx to replace the Sony model. Not only was the Sony hard to use, difficult to navigate menus, and missing USB ports and fetures, it was just plain ugly. Finding wiring diagrams online was nearly impossible considering the many different types of audio available in our cars so I used some common sense and some of my own expertise.
Now I have a color matched unit that looks good on and off, a little too glossy, but oh well :).

Ignore the missing kick panels and ugly shift knob (was trying a friends, I like the throw but gosh it's ugly, back to stock for now)



Then I went ahead and installed tweeters I purchased off of a Facebook group member! I was missing the connects for the positive terminals, well they were the wrong size... A quick radio shack run fixed that! Sad to see they're going bankrupt... It's handy having a small store that has a big selection on wiring and diy electronics parts locally.
Crimped on the right connectors and boom, finally can jam out to a complete (nice) audio setup! The system sounds so nice now! And within a relatively inexpensive budget!
