Thanks, I'm pretty happy with it. I've always wanted an e30 325i restored to stock condition for a daily driver, and that's exactly what this car will be. I think these cars have the perfect combination of fun, reliability, and practicality. Since I'm going to be driving it almost everyday, the engine bay and wheels will never stay clean though. I've got a couple of other cars for track toy and show car use.

Thanks! I have to be honest, I definitely wouldn't have chosen gletscherblau, but it's growing on me. I thought the car was too original to mess with the color combo though. It deserved a somewhat faithful restoration. I only changed the carpet color from tan to black to avoid stains from daily use.1990 BMW 325i

awesome !!
you should get a short shifter rather than that tall gear knob from the 1 series...
And any plans to drop it? You should i think... just even slightly mild drop would greatly improve the look.
Congrats on all the progress !Comment

Definitely not. I understand why people mod cars, and the changes you suggest would probably make it look slightly better. But I have a thing for honest, original old cars. Being the 2nd owner, having the window sticker, keeping the original colors and options, those things matter to me. I'm not going to do anything that will make it different from when it was new.1990 BMW 325i

I think what he was trying to say was
That's not the correct shift knob for that car.
It does look taller than what you expect. I know what came from the factory in earlier models but not sure what style knob came in a 1990.
