That is badass man! Too bad we can't go cruise at the same time in our strokers. You'd hand my ass to me though! lol

I think he's winning so far.

Definitely admire your attention to detail!

Car has really, really come along nicely. Obviously, one of the most well done iX I've witnessed.

Spent about 9 hours on the car today, damnit I'm sore. went pretty smoothly though, and I'm all ready to yank the motor tomorrow morning.

misc parts: exhaust, my now broken radiator (@#$% plastic), tranny cooler lines, brake booster..

look how well organized I am:

oh no! I didn't tag or label anything, what am I going to do? :D

                      bolts of death:

I wasted about 1.5 hours trying to get at these two bolts that hold on the pedal box, when I later realized that I only needed to remove the pin that holds the brake pedal on. the box itself is the same between 5 speed and auto cars, so I can just use my box and hang the 5 speed clutch and brake pedals. I realized this after I had tore apart tons of shit under the dash, removed the ABS computer, the airbag controller, etc. doh!

Pedals suck! Is that the way all iX exhausts were or is yours custom?

custom; 2.5" to the cat.. my old downpipe was cracked and leaking. it's just temp though, I want to do full length headers and a high flow cat, 2.5" all the way to the muffler section.

yeah, I think I can have it done. I still have to put the bottom end together, change the seals on the tranny & transfer case, and reboot my front CV axles. I plan on spending wed. doing that, and dropping it all in thursday, starting it up on friday or saturday. today will be spent cleaning parts, pressure washing, and changing the pedals & adding the master cylinder.

                              then sunday is autox :D

Won't you have to break in the motor?
