              i just fail to understand peoples obsession with CAI's and "ram air"
              Especially when they dont do them right and cant begin to comprehend the concept. As shown by this tool.

                the obsession comes from th edamn jap cars flying around... ppl see their friends buy cars and get a 25 dollar intake from autozone and some pvc piping and make themselves a cold air intake and then they want to copy and try it themselves....thing is most of those japcars were designed for fuel economy and therefore have extremely restrictive breathing systems so by just replacing the intake pipe you get a few extra hp...e30s dont work like that

                  some times it works. only if its well thought out. not a jaggerd gutter drain.

                            That's a bunch of ignorant horse shit. Black jagged piping CAI's on E30's has nothing to do with Japanese cars.
