    The parts were about 300 and the mechanic is charging 2-300 depending on how much of a bitch the condenser and expansion valve are to r&r.

      New OEM windshield, gasket & trim/clip & Homelink auto dim mirror installed.







      Also, clear lenses came today.

          Safelite got these parts from BMW.

          They are what realoem said my vin needed.
          windscreen, green shade band 51311935631
          Window gasket 51311972248
          Black trim 51311906600, 51311968445

            I like the homelink mirror idea. I went ebay 5 series mirror but had to deal with the larger base. Which one did you use and any closeups of the mounting?

              It is this mirror:


              It came with the slide on mount that Safelite glued on under the OEM mount. It's just a little piece of metal.

                Picked this up yesterday.


                Will most likely dive in to do it, the guibo, CSB, delrin shifter refresh & Z3 short shifter & 4.10 LSD Friday when it's supposed to get "down" to a high of 98 for the weekend.

                              I did not the evaporator was ok. Small shop in Phoenix. It is a hybrid, I posted the link it is 134 compatible.
