Damn! I just got my reiger lip, and I have been planning on bolting it on. However, the zip ties sound easier and a better idea! Time to go find some industrial strength zippies 8-)

Great pics and I vote black bumpers... not color matched. Kinda looks like Arik's old super Eta in delphin before he wrecked it in the rain.

My friend keeps his lip on with zip ties. There's nothing wrong with that. If it's a pointless, asthetic piece it don't matter how you hold it on, as long as it's tight.

Thanks guys! Yea, the zip ties work fine. If it does fall off, I'm not worried about it - couldn't care less. Yea, it cost a lot, but it's pretty damn secure. If it rips off, it'll have to be hit hard and I'll have more things to worry about - considering my oil pan is only 1-1.5" above the bottom of the lip. lol

The black bumpers, I actually like them quite a bit. They go really well with the undercoating, the rear spoiler, my plate filler, and the tint. But, I really think they'd look good body color. My plan is to redo the extra front valance I have at home (no more texture) and get a new front bumper cover. Then paint the bumpers body color. I like the black, and it'll do for now most definately, but I'd love to have them body color - just to have them look cleaner. Not sure if I'll do the front reiger in bodycolor yet or not. However, this won't happen for maybe a year now. Now that I'm at school, I'll most likely have an internship this summer, and possibly a coop. Pretty much the main reason I wanted to get my motor done - I'll be driving MANY miles this summer.

TJ - thanks for the kind words. It has definately come a long way, hasn't it? You have seen it transfer over the past couple years. I'll have to post up the pic of the day I got the car from Kris (bimmerphile).

Ken, they are indeed 225's. 225/50-15's to be exact. Perfect amount of rubber. :)

Chris - the motor is running AWESOME! I've been running 15w-50 since I left home. My valves are very quiet, but my injectors are louder than ever! I did the screw driver trick, and it's definately not my valve train. All the noise is coming from my injectors. Engine runs so damn smooth though. Poor thing doesn't get drivin much anymore - which I why I enjoyed last weekend with the BMW club - an absolute BLAST! Nice to know I have synthetic in it, when it sits for a week, then I start it. ;)

Thanks again guys. Always nice to hear the kuds from people. I constantly wonder what I'd do if I didn't have my car. It's one of those things that I don't think I'd be able to live without. It's how I relieve my stress. The damn thing is awesome! SO MUCH FUN!

                I <3 e30's... :)
