I thought I was gunna quit to so I took my ashtray out and put the misc item holder in it's place. I have not quit and I didn't put the ashtray back in. I can't see the damn thing at night anywho.

And four doors suck, the wind blows all the ash back in when you have the windows down. Two doors FTW.

As far as the black felt goes: any fabric store should have it. It comes in a 4x6 sheet or something like that. It is about $2 for 2 sheets and it makes a HELL of a difference, especially in the main compartment under the HVAC panel. Coins stay in place and do not rattle, sunglasses do not slide back and forth, etc etc. I just wanted to protect my phone and in the ash-tray's old place, and hit the front of that too.

That LR will be getting a Rover TDi motor installed soon

        Thanks to these resources:

        Got to work:

Fuzzy picture, but these are the metal ring you need to clip. They look like the metal ring/staple in the plier pictures.

            headliner

I remember doing the headliner, but also remember wanting to forget doing it. It really was not that bad...If I had to do it again it would look better. It took me about 14 hours to do it and it was the first time.

I remember removing everything. Cutting back the loops that the metal rods suspend from, using office supply butterfly clips to keep the fabric in place and glue bit by bit to make sure it all fit properly. THe aperture of the sunroof was the trickiest part...thats what I messed up. If you cut the corners too short, it will show the foam liner around the aperture...if you leave it to long, it will tear from the stress when you stretch it.

If you have the cash, take it to a good upholsterer..it is worth every penny and guaranteed. Either that or get 2 headliners in case you mess up the first time you do it...thats what I should have done: bought 2.

                  heated setas working!!

Ok...the heated seats are in and working. Feels nice although I'm a bit late to enjoy them for the winter as the weather is really getting nice. Still, in the cold morning it will be nice. Here are some more pictures:

...and these are the plugs that I will be installing this week so if the seats need to be removed, it is the way it should be: unplug/plug:

Picked up the Husco arm pad from the upholsterer last night. Also got come hardware together and made a metal reinforcement for screwing into the side of the console on installation. The black screw caps will hide the screw heads once installed.

The arm pad is slightly short on the corners...the upholsterer told me to wait 2 weeks as the foam and material will break in as it is used.

Just need to get more hardware and it will be installed.
