I *might* know of a place in NC that can get you a title. A friend of mine bought a Bavaria without a title and a place got him the title no problem.

unfortunatly one of the most important things that makes it a touring is the rear hatch. Which is rusting to nothing. Your best bet on a title is finding a 325ix of the same year and say it was repainted. Other than that it will be a pain in the ass to deal with.
I agree with previous posters, If it doesnt have a title whats keeping everyone from going up to canada and driving one back? esp on the cheap

nothing. go to germany right now, pick up a touring for 1k. pay ~1500 to ship it here, and register it in canada. drive it over the border, and boom. legal touring in the u.s.
