Soon there will be 2 of us using the line "aye, babe - hop in the M3 & let's go back to my, ummm.....place".
Funny I kept my hot tub too - so we'll both be bums living on property in RV's with a hot tub out back. Cheades has given me plenty of shit about it, but it looks like we might be starting a trend.
GL ryan.
The only difference is that he is in Cali and you are in WA. ;)
Looks like a cool project Ryan. Baller trailer!!
This thread worthless without pics of the forklift. :Dsigpic

Wow, man, hell of a plan.
Airstream FTMFW, IMO, nothing better.
How far out of town are you?
Quick suggestion: Yellow pages are your best advertising, by 100X at least (not counting WOM, duh) but they can get expensive. Find out when the deadline is for getting your ad in the phone book and beat the hell out of your sales rep for a better price...then do the same the next year. I got a total of 9 ads in 3 books for $40/mo, vs. $60/mo for 1 ad, 1 book regular pricing.
Hope that made sense.
Good luck, we all know you do great work.

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys! I'm glad there are no haters, even if you are envyous of being trailer-trash!
My vert is at my brothers house in the garage. My driveway is pretty uneven so I didn't want to rip the bottom side of it apart out here. I will bring it down next week once everything is dried out and I get more gravel down on the driveway.
I am putting the shop on the same property. 2400sqft of insulated steel building with 13' cielings and 2 10x12 doors. It will be plenty of space for my 1-man show. If business blows up then I can move to a bigger location in town and keep my home shop for personal use.
I am 1.5 miles from the main highway and about 2.5 miles from "town". Its VERY convienent but secluded enough to feel like I am out in the woods.'88 M3.2 S54 Lachssilber/Black

Granted, I was like 10 at the time... :D Do they still have a Wienerschnitzel?
Here are a few shots of the new forklift. I'm thinking of painting it LIME GREEN, you know the super bright, obnoxious color that is only cool on something like this...
What do you guys think?
Oh, and I had the flatbed tow-truck drop it right there on that concrete pad as its the only place I could put it. This sucker weighs 8,800 LBS!!! The rear tires are a mere 4" wide so it would sink right into the ground if I put it on the earth. I will have to get creative when I move it into the shop in a month...'88 M3.2 S54 Lachssilber/Black
