Been so frustrated every time i take off the wheels, the lugs would constantly get stuck in my socket. So i replaced them with new black aluminum ones. Cleans up everything so much better!

All the dent marks from me having to use a screwdriver to punch them out of my socket

Forgot to mention these shark fins were the 1st mod i did when i got this car. I always thought it was so iconic to the 80s gen 911s

I knew i needed a tool kit but was not willing to pay the money for a genuine Porsche kit. So i made my own using leftover essential tools, tape, zip ties, jack pad etc etc

thanks bro! This is bringing me back to when i was restoring the E30. This particular 911 is DIY friendly and fairly easy to work on. Applying all the little tricks from my E30 build on this one :-)

Beautiful car! I have long lusted after a 911SC in a similar spec and it's really cool that it seems reasonable to wrench on and make some sweet/subtle/usable upgrades with quality aftermarket parts. Thanks for sharing the details.

Boy was that a great read!

Love what you've done so far. Interior is absolutely a nice place to be, looks very warm.
Good call on those rear bumperette deletes, big improvement without spending euro bumper money.

How do you like that Blaupunkt headunit? I was thinking of picking one up for the E30 for either glovebox or under-dash mounting.

thanks man! Very easy to work on so far! Very different than let’s a 993 that takes like 12 spark plugs!

thank you! The headunit is great! A little overpriced but i actually think it’s discontinued now. If you can find a seller grab one. I was tempted to get one for the e30 too
