lmost there, just waiting on the steering parts. I could technically run the stock rod ends temporarily despite the fact that they are in poor shape, but I stripped one out trying to get the castle nut back on.... yea, they barely didn't bind at nearly full bump, and only at full lock, other than that, they'd be okay i think. the good news is that i know I don't have to space a heim down very far at all to be much better off than I would be with stock rod ends.

full droop, possibly less fender gap than stock height? :)

    basically full bump

I was a bit concerned about this ball joint, but I gave it a good look over at this nearly full bump setup (coilovers are in the same place as before with 2-1/4" off the strut tube and I added 1/2" of bump stop since the bumps weren't doing the trick on their own) and they look like they still have a bit further to go, and it turns beyond lock to lock without binding, the rod ends however, that's another story... although not nearly as bad as I thought they'd be as stated above.

well, the steering parts I thought were going to work won't, I found out I can get by with stock rod ends, that's what I'm running for now since I don't want to pay $70 a piece for the only heims that I can find to fit my tie rods. it's probably going to bump steer like a mo-fo, but at least I'll have suspension for once rather than being bottomed out all the time.

getting anxious to get it back on the road, I miss my rotary power! It's a complete pile, but it sure is fun.

overall, the new suspension works amazingly, probably going to bring the back down a touch.

nice. slammed. looks good, but i would almost go back with the stock front turns, i think it would go with the blue nicely.

thanks, I've considered taking the tint off the turn signals, but I'm going to leave them for now.

                    oh, and:

I really like your e21. Can the back go lower? It looks a little un-even.

Wish our 320 was sitting that low.

thanks, yea, in the first pics i took after I got it back on the road, the front was a bit lower than in the newer pics my friend took, and the back was higher... it wasn't sitting too nice. now, as you can perhaps see in the newer pics, it's pretty close. with a full tank of gas and my tools in the back, it's barely higher in the back, just how I want it, cause I don't want reverse rake when I put extra stuff in it, and the amount of positive rake is pretty minimal. perhaps I'll get a good side shot on here soon to demonstrate it's current stance a bit better. I can easily get the whole car lower than it is, I can actually manage to make the sub frame be pretty firm on the ground with nothing more than adjustment of the coilovers, but it's at a height I really like right now.

here's the last two pics from that photo shoot:
