I kinda wish that we didnt piss OP off as this was a very entertaining thread, it was kinda like watching a bloopers show. I cringed at most of his posts but I did find them amusing.

Still kinda strange to me that I kept reading them as there was absolutely nothing to learn from him but still I had to keep checking for updates.

That was friggin incredible. Thank you sir. Im in the unfortunate position that i acctually know this fool. used to be his roomate. you may see pics of me working on his car, because i was all too nice and wanted to help the guy out. During this build he did all the engine assembly and while he was aimlessly trying different connecting rod and piston combinations. he gave up on one where the piston sat about one to two millimeters above the deck at tdc. he then began to tell me how he would use 2 head gaskets and blue silicone rtv sealant to make up for the piston height. at this point i realized he was hopeless and have not belived a single word he has said. i have driven this car and have felt no (preload) in the suspension as he calls it. that car is no more than a run down piece of shit with bmw badges. and he has no access to a dyno, as a matter of fact the car has never been dynoed and he has no printout sheet. Everywhere ive been with him he does nothing but talk shit and get beat down every night exept for the other retards who listen to his bs because they themselves are to stupid to know the difference. oh and when he was talkin bout how badass his bmw was someone challenged him to a race and he got beat by and automatic sunfire. i dont think 240 wheel tourque will loose to that unless he is a complete fucktard and lies about everything he possibly can. he will make shit up just to sound smart. so as for anything else this douche has to say :wgaf:. FWIW I do have an e30, and I'm trying to decide if I want to boost the m42, install the m50tu I've got, or the m52tu I've got, running a 413 DME and a VAC exhaust cam vanos delete.

You so need to supercharge the M42. Please do NOT get a f'n vortech.
Eaton makes it easy because of the kit they have out for the 318iS. I was going to get a 1800 Whipple, but that project has been on the backburner because the wife deems money should be spent elsewhere. sad face.

I've been on m42club for a while, just don't post much. The boosting will come in the form of a turbo, not a supercharger.

alright so for the last couple of weeks i have been bored out of my mind looking for things to do with my car last wekend i did a huge burn out and then decided to begin my multi throttle intake i moved some money around scheduled some work and then tuesday i went over to my friendly local auto shop and asked if i could do naughty things to my spare intake manifold and they said yes... so i began hacking it up (pics to come later) and then i went to my local steel shop www.southsidesteel.com and purchased some steel for my plenum. and then when i got the opportunity i ordered two sets of throttle bodies from a 02 suzuki gsxr1000. since then i have almost finished up cleaning up the intake manifold. i will begin disassembly/reassembly of the throttle bodies when i get home. next week whenever i have time i will order the hose clamps and tubing for the plenum and throttle bodies and monday i will begin building the plenum i have some ideas as to how i am going to do this but am still not entirely sure about every detail just yet.
