alright i promised pics and here they are
these first four are from a few weeks ago when the headbolt snapped

these next two are of the new silicone hose i took pics of it next to the mti so that you can get an idea of its size and dimension

i spoke to godfather and will have access to the machine shop thursday - yay
i have to go to the junk yard and pick up an extra original throttlebody because the current throttlebody accuates in a clockwise fashion and this setup accuates counterclockwise. and because godfather and i are not sure just how fast this will go we are not confident in cutting my current throttlebody up. we will probably fabricate our own brackets but we want one to work from and seen as how i have an awesome relationship with the local junkyards i can get them super cheap. if anyone wants to knoww the current project cost is right around $330 i still have to pick up a vaccume t fitting and epoxy and 24 hose clamps or t bolt clamps. all said this whole thing will cost less than $400. not to shabby considering the dbilas or extrudabody setups at 1800. whats more is that all said and done this whole thing will be plug and play and keep the factory plugs and sensors and keep the cruise control.
i am so excited to get this thing done and on the car - as fun as it's been to do i am kind of sick of looking at it in peices in my living room.
oh and i spoke to a local auto-mod shop and they are going to look into making me a hood with 2 lexan windows so you will be able to see the intake and turbo - obviously this is a project for the fall or summer.
