Great work on the car so far I just picked up an eta myself looking forward to getting started on it and put on the 731 head i have lying around. I've done alot of the things you've done so far on your car my most recent one is the dashboard swap, i know how scary it is halfway done when doing the change over. Those GC's look great coilovers is something i want to do aswell

So, got my coil overs installed today...thanks to RyanG motorwerks. Will go lower in the front when I get my skid plate...will get some better pics too. but just a update, I love em. Best money i spent on my car.

Yeah that is by far the strongest skid plate. I run one myself and it saves me weekly. I have had one installed for the past two years now, zero issues. As far as the price, you get what you pay for. I have seen many documented failures of the race skids plate and if you consider you get a frame rail stiffener and a skid plate it is economical. Race skid wants $280 just for an x-brace

UPDATE: Car has been sitting, been driving around a newly acquired 99 chevy s10 4x4. Good news, attention is back on the BMW. Just got back from Mexico for spring break, and just ordered Ground Control Coil Overs!!! Prepare for some slammage :) 440f/650r. full kit. Ryan G will hopefully be installing on saturday :) Will definately post pics.

Bad news, tickets...exhaust ticket, then a speeding ticket. Then i get my exhaust back to stock, sucks, till my car gets hit outside of my friends exhaust shop. Will show a pic when i get one, I don't even wanna see it :(

Got the HID's hooked up. Heres a vid of warmup. It was sooooo easy to install, did it in my school's parking garage haha.

Finished my new sub box :) Thanks to Clavinzero for idea...with my own little tweak. Also installed REAL leather rear seats with armrest that i scored from pick n pull in perfect condition. Will post pics of it installed later. HID's should be going in soon. Also, my dad wax/polished the camaro's rims for 5 hours. Sent me a pic..."excuse his fingers"

Got my 35w 3000k DDM kit for fogs and 5000k for low's. Once i get a chance to install...i'm gonna try to tackle it. Hopefully i dont mess it up. Supposedly 9006 bulbs are plug n play. hope its that easy.

Okay, so my cars all good. Ended up being something kicked up, bent a heat shield where i couldn't see. Any whoo. Next thing i wanna tackle is changing out my shocks. Ive had Boge's with my old springs and it wasnt a problem bottoming out except for REAL big bumps etc. Now that i switched to eibach pros with front cut spring. I am bottoming out a lot...I know I atleast need billy sports. Will that solve my problem? Or since I only have about a finger clearance from fenders do i need to get the Koni sport adjustables?

So I drained/refilled the tranny. I was about 400 mL low (out of 1.25L), shifting feels alot better...but that noise is still there...I also towed my car home. Noise was still there when front tires off the ground...so i know its somewhere from the driveshaft back
