New 2ltr alloy surge tank. Complete with base plate. I looked into getting one with AN fittings however the price of running 4 x fuel lines went up quite a bit. The AN oil line was around $450

Got the car back tonight from the welders tonight.

          * Permantly mounted brackets for expansion tank and ODBII
          * Flanged removible center muffler with straight pipe insert :D
          * Ireland Engineering Front and rear sway bars with adjustible links
          * Drive shaft loops
          * Custom battery mount for supporting smaller lighter batteries in the boot.

High flow center muffler thats quitened it down a nice amount for the road. But still has its bite, just legal :)

Straight pipe option I can bolt in for track days.

Rear re-inforced swaybar blocks drill through to the boot

Front sway bars connected to the control arms

De-loomed washer tank and sensors, mounted expansion tank and ODBII connector neatly tucked in the corner. I have a replacement clutch reservoir and arm, just need to install it :)

          AN Oil lines to cooler.

Yet to be mounted, but it will be in the boot or trunk depending on which part of the world youre from :D

Hey mister, what type of mid section silencer is that?

See you almost got the same oil cooler solution as me, but I got nut and cone on the pipes. And Dunlop Hiflex hoses, 275 bar FTW ;)

Cheers fellas, yeah most solutions had a lot of research and thought of better ways to improve instead of just making do if something wasn't right.
If I couldnt afford something, I put the projecton hold until I could.
Brendon (the guy in most of the photos, I was the one behind the camera) and I were stoked how everyting went, especially as this is the first time I've build up a car to this level. My e46 was mainly panels and suspension which was fairly simple in comparison.

It made such a difference using a friend of my fiancee who had had a lot of race fabrication experience and a demon with the TIG.

The silencer is from one of these, its stainless, high flow and low profile.

Looking good, man. Too bad those motors cost an arm and a leg here or we'd end up as near twins.

Its not so bad in this country, you can get one for around the 8k mark (6k US)

8ks plenty enough for an engine.

Even cheaper if you know where to look. The ression and a desperate race car owner was the reason I got mine.
However 6k US is cheaper than the 10-15k the US has to pay normally for euro M engines. But yeah I get what you mean .. it still aint no free lunch by any means.

                              True.
And ya couldn't build anything like it for 8k.

What type of master cylinder did you use? Will it fit Golf 1 booster?
