i borrowed a tool from my shop neighbor.
it pinches down to clamp the boots on the axles

the clamps provided with the boots came excessively long

i tried to cut the clamps with a pair of sheet metal tin snips but that didnt work
i ended up using a cut off wheel

axle boot tore on the driver side inner joint

really impressed with my brushless dewalt impact gun
it broke the axle nut free even with the lock ring still on

after tearing them down i discovered you can not disassemble the outer joint closest to the wheel bearing.
so i removed as much grease as possible then soaked it in paint thinner.

axles dissembled and cleaned. waiting for redline cv2 axle grease to rebuild them.

i bought rubber boots inner and outer,
    axle nuts
    axle locking plates
all from rm European it was delivered in one business day.

so i got a side cabinet for Christmas from my wife

    here is the before shot

these holes had to be enlarged to get the side cabinet to fit nice and flush with the big tool box

i took the drawers out of the cabinet so i could load it on and off by myself

    done

    Cliff notes

Fumoto oil drain valve f109 N works on the m20 oil pan WITHOUT needing the ADP 109 adapter. I have called fumoto and discussed this with them via email so they can update there website.

The drain valve sits above my e30 Motorwerks HIK fabrication skid plate

    New parts
I have been wanting a fumoto oil drain valve for a while. Once i checked out there website I found out it needed an adapter to screw into the oil pan first so that the valve could clear the oil pan. This would cause it to sit to low and be vulnerable to shearing off.

I recently bought the valve and the adapter to see what how I could do it.

Turns out you can use a extra crush washer to space the valve out and get the included fiber washer to sit nice and flat.
