I installed some magnetic strips into some of the drawers to help keep things in place.

    Magnetic tray
    Paper towel holder
    Paint can holder

I went to bimmerfest at auto club speedway in Fontana California and got to ride with tony Jackson in his e46 m3 for part of a session. Very good driver and nicely setup car.

I like garage upgrades just as much as I like car upgrades. Nice work shop you're building there!

Late night swapping driveshaft hardware the day before the track day.
Really dreading having to wake up at 3am

Car loaded up and meeting Apexjunky (Tyler) and Tomo in the s2000 at 3:45am in Irvine Ca

    Sunrise

Made it safely to the track. It's 30 minutes to the Arizona border.

    Setting up our pit area

Variety of cars out there this yellow Miata was so loud it startled me as I walked by it in the pits and it revved as I was passing by.

    Say no to garage queens

    Functional fitment
    15x8 trm c1 et20 front and rear
    5mm spacers in the front
    205/50/15 bfg rivals
    Fenders rolled front and rear
Riding on coilovers 450 fronts 600lb rears bilstein sport shocks
Ground control camber caster plates in the front and ground control tall rear shock mounts

-3 degrees of camber in the front zero toe
-2.5 degrees of rear camber 1/8toe in
Corner balanced with fuel, spare tire and driver ballast.

Track map chuckwalla was a fun technical track with a lot of flowy turns and decreasing radius turns.

Great weather at the track. It was pouring rain on our drive in the morning but after 6 am the weather cleared and was good.
A bit windy with lots of sand storm blasting us. But much better than having rain.

    Panoramic of the pit paddock.
Really nice compound the bathrooms where nice. They even had 2 showers.

I really liked this Ek hatch back civic with full cage and halo seats.
    Pumping the good race gas.

This track is literally in the middle of no where. My gps said you are driving on an unpaved road.
This huge tank was on the side of the road where you are suppose to turn on and I was thankful for it. He would have probably have gotten lost with out.

Apexjunky(Tyler)about to go out on his first session

Our pit neighbor told us where we could get dinner on the way home.
In Palm Springs near the mountain there is a place that sells the most authentic Chicago style deep dish pizza. Thanks Juan!
We packed up the cars topped off the tanks and headed towards Palm Springs to get to Giuseppe's pizza and pasta.

And to wrap up this track day report I'll leave you with these shot thanks to the photographers by Cali photography.
    Turn 10

I was getting ready for a track day at chuckwalla.
The day before the event I lost a driveshaft bolt.

Blessing in disguise because chuckwalla is a solid 3 hours away almost 200miles one way. It would have sucked to loose that bolt on the drive to the track at the track day or on the way Home.

I limped it home put it in the air figured out what was wrong. And I had a spare bolt and nut.

    I installed the spare bolt

I called Irvine BMW and they had 10 one time use nuts in stock so I installed the old nut and bolt test drove it to the dealer and was relieved that it fixed the problem 100%.
I picked up the new bolts went back home and installed them. The loaded up the car for the track day. When it first happened I thought I might have to cancel my track day. I was happy to not have to cancel it.
