Nice update!! I love those plates.
YES thank you for posting pictures of some radiator brackets. I have been trying to devise a better/cleaner design in my head than the OEM plastic bracket (mine is so beat) for ages and the answer was staring me in the face the whole time... just use the e36 mounting points! Awesome! I'll be doing that soon.
I'm surprised you've had so much trouble with the aux fan switch leaking. I've never had an issue between 2 oem e36 radiators, a mishimoto aluminum radiator like yours, an aluminum koyorad, and a couple different switches. I think I even reused the sealing washer half the timeComment

I got a set of s50/m50 green top 17lb injectors for free.
Only thing wrong with them was one missing pintle cap.
Thanks chub tone

I contacted Dimitry owner of Mepeh injection, he was very polite I met him at his house to pick up a rebuild kit for my injectors. He offered to install my injectors on his machine to flow match them and test them out.
We ran them at 3 bar at 7k rpm
and up to 4 bar and 7k rpm they passed all the test.
Also ran a draining cycle and they all where very close to one another.

Cutting the pintle caps off

Old injector filters vs new high flow filters.

Injectors completely disassembled and cleaned.

Rebuild kit plus a few spares not in the picture.
6 high flow filters
6 upper O rings
6 spacers
6 lower O rings
6 pintle caps
Filter extraction tool not in the picture

Assembled just need to put some Vaseline on the o rings

Installed with a new 3.0 bar fuel pressure regulator

Installed
Unplug negative battery terminal for 30
Minutes and it will help the ecu clear out and help calibrate to the new injectors on the first test drive.

I documented some of the injector rebuild process for those interested.
3 short clips but it may help someone tackle this job.

Step 2

After installing the new injectors the car had a check engine light come on.
Code 1262
Fuel pump Relay control......
Before diving deep into testing I decided to replace the fuel pump relay and the main relay. Easier said then done.
A few years back I did an engine bay wire tuck.
This involves removing the engine harness completely and shortening and relocating things.
The relays used to be on a bracket near the afm they are now inside the m3 harness cover.
I tried researching what part number relay to order but was struggling to
Verify what to order.
Old main relay

Old fuel pump relay

With the help from my parts guy and Google we figured what to get.

Part number for a white main relay from BMW.
For a 1989 325i build date 12/1988
173 DME
motronic 1.3

Part number for a fuel pump relay
Same part number will be correct for the o2 sensor heater relay

Stoaked new relays.
Didn't buy the relay for the o2 sensor because they were out of stock.

Test drive was a great success no more cutting out and check engine lights.Comment

took me a couple days, but I got through this finally. Great progress. It's amazing how many things still need to be fixed on a "clean e30" like what you originally were looking for. Well done mate.
Also pretty awesome how often you seem to get shit for free or whatever. Sounds like a great setup.Comment

Thanks for reading.
I just try to help people out and sometimes they return the favor with free stuff.Comment
