Indeed, I didn't mean to sound condescending. Some people really don't know that you can use different clutch and fly packages in different transmissions.

    No kidding, really?

I was just curious, honestly. Figured if he was running an m20 starter it would be m20: TOB, Flywheel, ect...

Yes, he's using an m20 fly.

The flywheel dictates the starter used, not the transmission.

Did you mock the starter to another M50?

Are you VANOS or NV? And yes, I'm being lazy and not reading through the entire thread.

Kitty hair is a fiberglass product, by the way. Flex agent is usually sold at most body stores if you have any close. It's worth it in the long run BUT, if you don't mind doing it all again, get some work done and get that bitch on the road, man ;)

At least take the bondo'd areas down to straight metal. No paint 3" in either direction, bondo, Evercoat, done.

Meh. I've no problem with bog over prepped paint, so long as the paint's sound.
It'll crack unless those body panels are fully welded though (my guess is they're not) especially on a flexie old e30.

Modern, flexible body fillers do not require bare metal - they are designed to adhere to existing paint, and are typically used that way. BTW "Bondo" brand does not qualify as modern or even OK.

^ no, no need to. why do you think that bondo is going to crack so fast.

just read your complete thread from beg. to end. seems like it is going to be like a nice car when done.
oh, BTW, not a single euro car ever received that coolant valve, not a bad idea but I really think there is zero risk of your heater core blowing up. I am sure it was just a scare in the 90s of BMW getting sued by someone in the U.S. if it would happen.
