Come on Matt u can do it ..Just have faith in yourself. i been doing most of my whole build without help. And i am proud of what i have done by myself. I give a lot of credit to eric and mike for the knowledge and pushing me to do it myself.

I have faith in u. Just take it slow. Dont be in a rush. lol Slow and easy wins the race. :)

load leveler is not a waste, especially when doing a swap by yourself. i got mine no less than two months ago and it has 4 swaps on it (8 in and outs).

I wouldn't worry about scratching that engine bay by not using a leveler, in fact, it just might make it look better.

Load leveler came in handy for me. I put the engine in with the trans attatched in my driveway so it was helpful. I gotta be honest man....that paint looks like dookie. Watch some videos of swap cars, look at pictures, post in other peoples threads. I kept running into the same wall of demotivation because I was working alone. You just have to keep talking youself into it. The harness looks good btw. I can't wait to see this thing done.

I know what you mean. One of the reasons I haven't painted my bay yet even though the swap was done. I try not to throw tools around while I'm working on it but even so, nice shiney paint in a bay only lasts so long for some people.

It's the same reason I don't get why people don't just rent the fender roller when they want to do their fenders. Yeah, there are plenty of other ways to do it that are more of a pain in the ass and get the job done, but why do it the hard way when there is a tool made SPECIFICALLY for that job?

I've never felt the need for one. I'm sure they are a nice thing to have if you were consistently pulling engines, something I'm not doing week in and week out.

If his budget that tight the money would be better spend on fixing the abortion that is the paint work...

^yep. That's how paint works. If the prep is shitty, just keep coating on the layers until it comes out right. Works every time.
