    I know you don't need one any more, but for future reference, an 1-3/16" socket should have worked as well. I find that it is a lot easier to find large SAE tools as apposed to large metric.

    had to grind this down for starter to fit




    EDIT:

    Also added a new bushing to shifter support, and tossed my shifter in it
