                  I am about to do this with mine, you need to make a new hole. I believe the m3 are just located in the middle and the same length as the offset regular e30. Also for a safety point, the anchor point I believe is important.

                    Yea, i dont know about the belts, and If i can really drill a hole and tap it... I could, but am not experienced in doing such a task...and dont want to run into any problems...

                      Well I hope to take on this task soon, would be this weekend but mini-vaction with wifey prevents it. I just remove the rear seats as I need to recover my rear panels. I have seen someone just drill a hole and you can see the other end from under the car, he then used a bolt and nut, not sure if that is an option either. I will let you know what I do.

                        The m3 belts are exactly the same. Its the mounting point thats different. Im going to use a threaded piece of 3x3 SS scrap metal and place it on the underside. Either that or i'll use the aluminum plates for my vaders that uber made. Or you could always cut out the reinforced mount point from a junker and weld it in

                          Is that the interior that M3's came with for e30? Or is that an e36 M3 interior? Looks incredibly comfortable, do want. DO WANT.
