Sad day... but I know the feeling. My suspension is all sorts of fucked up and I don't have the time, money nor space to deal with it until summer. And even then time is gonna be at an all time short.

Over winter break, I addressed:

-bilstein sport rear shocks
-h&r race springs (installed the rears only)
-new front brake rotors
-new front pads
-brake fluid flush (had this done for me)
-power steering belt
-alternator belt
-ac belt
-oil & oil filter change

But ALL hell broke loose this evening when I noticed that the engine had NO oil in it.
Then I looked on the floor of my condo's garage and noticed a lake of oil. :(

I filled it up with oil, went to the grocery store, got gas, dinner, and came home.
Spent the great majority of the night cleaning what I could off of the floor and still need to get some sort of chemical to clean it tomorrow before my landlord or kooky HOA neighbors flip out. Any suggestions/tips on cleaning it?

Anyways, so I'm a broke college student with no tools, no space, no time with a very very busy month ahead of me, and no money. :(

I'll be non-op'ing the car, cutting its insurance, and leaving it in our house's garage till summertime when I'll have it towed to a relatives house in LA, where it'll likely sit for the next couple of years.

We had a great run together, but at the moment, I just don't have time/money etc to spend on it, and live pretty close to school so I'll be biking and taking the bus.

At least it'll have some company in the garage for the next 6 months! :D

Yesterday.... Copped H&R M3 races (reds), Bosch sparkplugs, oil filter, air filter, box of synthetic oil for the change, upper & lower oil pan gaskets, valve cover gasket.

Still need to cop a pair of billy sports for the rear and sway bar bushings.

Also looking for a shop to press my CABs in the bay area!

It's gonna be a busy xmas week :D

Also, Gotta drive my car sometime. The gc/revalved billies are awesome. It's a hoot to drive even with four passengers and audio equipment.

Thanks bro. Wish we coulda met up over the weekend..honestly don't know how I have energy but I literally spent 15 hours in the library yesterday lol.

I'm just gonna take it reaaaaaal easy on the on the way up, and stop in SLO to party/chill/check everything on the car before comin back to the Bay on Sunday.

I'm really over all the "stance" and style shit which I was all hyped up on over the summer.

I just really wanna experience how my E30 should feel - nice & tight (which it's not anymore).

It also feels shitty knowing it was my fault that the car's in the utterly shitty shape that it is in today -
...just that the car had to take the waay back seat to everything else in life in recent times.

I wouldn't be surprised if I head back down to here in January with the Volvo :( (which runs/drives like a champ, knock on wood)

Took a little break from the finals study grind today to put my car up on the jack in my classmate's garage.

Scary stuff. One of my adapters in the rear (shitty NON 42-draft ones) has a stripped bolt.
This must have been stripped ALL the way since the time that me and Dmitriy (kronus) installed them.

I'm still kicking myself for buying those pieces of shit from the dude who sold them to me here on R3V...Complete trash - and now I know for sure that it wasn't me who stripped them.

Enough of me ranting on that topic... here is what else I found:

-completley shot rear sway bar link bushings
-the bilstein touring shocks in the rear of my car are leaking like a lil wayne mixtape..
...also explains the gangster lean i have in the rear
-cv boot's completly torn on the passenger side.
-both oil pan gaskets are leaking
-vc gasket is leaking (again...replaced that like 5 years ago)

Tonight was effective in adding more stress on top of everything else...Grrrr all of this maintaince is driving me broke :(

I need a beer. Or two.
