Hey, I haven't thought of anything yet. My guess is that they used the outside shape of the original to create the mold, thus making the replica piece slightly larger than the original. I don't think there's any fix, I will see when things come back if I can tighten the screw on the side to see if it pulls it in.

Dropped by the body shop the other day, part of the hood edge was cut out and rewelded, bunch of dents and dings were fixed that I missed. So far I'm happy with what he's doing, car should have its jams and underside painted. I should get the car back sometime later next week.

      Off it went,

              So a little update,

Decided to tackle the license plate lights,
              After and Before,

Cleaned and installed the door mouldings,

              Driver side door handles cleaned,
              Before,

              During,

              After,

Still gotta do something about that key lock.

              Front end bolts and nuts,
              Before,

              Alittle of this,

              And during,

It's still in the bath so I'll take pics after.

Did the two trunk light mod, still hanging as I needed a connector,

              Painted the bumper mounts,

Don't want to see anymore rust, so it was all greased up,

Went to the dealer today to get some bolts and nuts....

I was like wtf, $215 for some bolts and nuts, so I said fuk it and went to Brofasco.

              Bumper Bolts and nuts,

Rebar mounted, I know its all chopped up but will do for now,

              Bumper on

              Valence on

              Bumper gaurds on,

Side markers, had these cool led's lying around,

Will start tackeling the front tommorow.

Haha thanks, ya its finally one color, I'll be honest, its detailed builds like yours that keeps us new kids motivated and going. I've given up so many times, but every time I log on here and see everyone's build, I keep on going.

Thanks, the paint...I got what I paid for, neither perfect or bad. I'm sometimes a perfectionist and I see the flaws in the paint, a few runs and orange peel. The coat is thick so I'm guessing a wet sand and buff should remove most blemishes, we'll see.

Don't have the camera with me, but the front valence is mounted and I'm just waiting on some bolts to be cleaned up and I'll post more pics. Updates will probably be slow, as I've ran out of funds for this project. I just graduated so I'm on the hunt for a job. Once a steady income flows in there should be a major update with the car :D.

                      Small update,
                      Fogs installed in the valence,

                      Mtech valence on,

As for the fenders the speed nuts were pretty much rusted, so found something similar at the parts store,

                      The pool of rusted bolts,

                      Rust checked,

                      Painted and cleared,

                      Seats are in, rears anyway

HELP! I need help with installed this trim piece that goes around the window.

I've tried lubing it up and nothing seems to work. The metal edge isn't getting into the rubber. Any suggestions???

                          Thanks man,

Got some more work done. The electrical wrap was brittle and was crumbling, so it was replaced. Decided to go with the test cloth tape, heard some good reviews on it, and its damn close to the oem stuff. I love this tape...seems like I'm gonna go crazy with it and replace all the wrap.

                          B4

                          The tape,

                          After

And all electrical connectors will get some grease,
