Worked on stripping paint and hammering out a few dents tonight.

This corner is in pretty bad shape.

Up top. This will all be cut out and new metal welded in.

    Exhaust cut out all mangled.

After a little work with a hammer and dolly.

    DIRTY.

A wire wheel on the grinder works good for stripping paint, but you end up a human pin cushion.

Both of those were stuck in my skin about 1/4".

No, going with some form of British Racing Green with all the trim and bumpers blacked out.

I had a booster in high school. Not worried about it though, this isn't the first time this has happened and I puncture myself rather often with various objects. lol

This is some of my inspiration:

No yellow for me though. Want it to end up kind of stealth with the dark green and all black.

                This one too:

I like the yellow, but alot of people dont like that color. So you're going with a nonmetallic or yes? I like the car better in green myself.

It will be non-metallic. Closer to the first picture with the yellow stripe, but a bit less foresty. Haven't gotten to the point of picking out an exact color yet though.

                        lol at the wire shrapnel..

but the funniest part is that you stopped to grab a camera before extraction(s).

I was sitting downstairs in my house reading a Hemmings and dreaming about a few MG's in it, when I remembered this thread. I came to look at it for a refresh and there was new updates! Keep up the good work man, the way you spend time making everything perfect is something to look up to.

I know this has pretty much nothing to do with what you're doing to yours, but have you seen this build?

I race with the SCCA Solo(autocross) program in a C-Stock Porsche Boxster. I have always admired the Modified class cars because they are all about huge power, huge tires and huge speed. Since I happend to have a 5.3 litre Jag V12 and 1967 MGB-GT sitting around, I decided to combine the two to comp

It's a pretty cool read if nothing else. I stumbled upon it the last time I almost bought a GT haha.
