Airbox off... now that i know how to do it took 3 minutes! woot!

But now all the vacuum hoses are being stubborn! I hate the OEM hose clamps... am I nuts to want to replace all of them with the screw type clamps???

How does one coax off a hardened vacuum hose (brake booster for instance?)

      not nuts at all,
the screw clamps make it much easier to work around your vacuum lines and what not,
i did a few of mine when my eta was still running,
and the clamps are dirt cheap anyways.
i think i used 1.5 inch clamps but im not sure.

Yeah the clamps are like $.60 to $1 each... not too bad. Looks like I need new vacuum lines too.

this is funny. do you have the vacuum hoses already, I've got some extra? also if you a pick tool, you can hook it up at the bottom of the hose and pull up. that's what i did with mine.

Pick a tool? What do you mean? Give me direction!

I was going to try and save the hoses that I could, but I guess I will end up buying new ones.

tap on the starter housing to shake the dust inside out and clear the contacts and try starting again.

you can't save those if they're old. they become brittle.
if you want some i have almost 2' in length. $15 shipped. you can use them

Finally made some progress. Yes I work really slow...

Got the T/B off and now I am working on the intake mani bolts. I borrowed some wobble extensions from my neighbor

Im making progress... sent the intake manifold off to the powdercoater today

M50 injectors are going in... which means old ones are up for sale.

eBay chip in the next month. Woot!!!

Sadly though, my C191 plug is broken and I cut the harness 2 inches up to get the mani off... I cut way too far up. So now I am going to use a weather pack connector and splice in longer wires.
