turning left in the far left turn lane. its two left turn lanes going into a three lane road.

right out the light traffic was really really heavy on the inside turn lane, going into the far left turn lane of the 3 lane street. theres a guy in a 2014 tundra in front of me, were both inching forward not even reaching 5mph. i'm looking over my shoulder periodically to see if i can sneek into the outside turn lane and get out of the intersection, ahead i was suppose to make a right anyways. i look over my shoulder and forward a few times, the tundra in front of me, and myself inching forward at about 2 mph, i looked over my shoulder for just a second, the tundra had stopped, and i continued to roll about 2mph into his far right rear bumper, contacting my far left front end, and high on my car due to the height difference. his car is literally almost untouched, and the dude was very nice. i felt like a moron, and when we swapped info i realized his birthday was just a week ago. he barely spoke english but he was telling me that it wasnt my fault, the fault was of the sirens from ambulances and police vehicles? haha i think he ment the traffic was to blame. he was trying to make me feel better.

TL;DR i rear ended a tundra going 2mph, he had a paint scuff, my e30 is totaled :P

Its only totalled if you have coverage and make an insurance claim. One trip to the junk yard will fix that.

Lol, I did something similar. Was at a yield sign, 1 guy in front of me. Don't know why, but for some reason I thought he had gone, think it was partly because I was being impatient. Started to pull out and quickly realized my mistake. His bumper had just a tiny amount of paint damage, my front bumper was cracked, my valence slightly bent, and my fender has a little crease in it. I felt like an idiot. However, my guy was a bit of a dick about it.

just got my check.
we worked on it together with my adjuster, so i dont get totalled.
2400 was the quote from BMW.
we settled at like $1550, and i have a $250 deductible, so i got the check its about $1200 :D

gonna get some nice smilies, already ordered euro grilles $60 from germany, just gotta find clean zinno panels and im set.

I agree. There's one local, doesn't include fogs. Kinda high price at $250 but there's literally like no e30 parts out here.

So I did a little bit of body work to make it less ugly for the time being with some friends this evening. Just with a heat gun and ball point hammer.

Are you coming back to the bay for the holidays?

I was planning on it but they only gave me 24/25th off, I hate traveling on time restrictions especially back home where I'm torn between friends and family.

I opted to work Christmas Eve and Christmas as my lady is going home to the bay for the Holliday, but we're going snowboarding in Utah with her family on the 29th and 30th.


Gonna plan a trip home in February for my birthday and to snowboard and hangout at my parents new cabin, I helped them make this place a possibility for like two years fixing up our old house to sell. So I need to enjoy it haha.

Wellllllp back in January I broke down on a freeway a couple miles from my house on my way home from work at about 1am, some jackass decided to hit me in his 04 trailblazer at about 70MPH while I was in the breakdown lane waiting for a tow. I was in the driverseat because i was freezing my balls off.
