50bhp is a considerable increase in power. not that much? lol. ok. if it's not that much, why dont more e30s have 220hp?

rented a valve spring compressor, gonna undress my head tonight with a friend, then scrub the coolant jackets with a bottle brush and have it hot tanked then decked, and possibly get a mild porting and gasket match :D

well that was short lived, fuck you e12 torx receiving bolt holding the cam pulley on :(
i should have planned this evening better hahah, will be getting the appropriate socket tomorrow and theeeen going to town.

next on my agenda is to CLR the shit out of it, try to get that rust out of the coolant ports. maybe have it hot tanked at a machine shop. definitely get it decked, install new valve seals and possibly new valve springs, the engine was at 213k and assuming the single rate springs are original they must be fairly worn out and in need of replacing yes?
