    Kamotors E30-Turbo to ITB M20

Well I decided to turbo the E30 last week so I order up a bunch of parts and got started. So far I have the manifold,Holset H1c, Miller WAR chip, oil lines, and Intercooler. All plumbing will be custom and I may release a turbo back exhaust kit after this build. I'm setting this up for low boost at the moment and will upgrade parts as time goes on. This probably wont be done until December but I will try to get it done quickly.

and the start of the build...

    stock exhaust off.

    and my "workspace"...

I think you might be confused as to what 'tii' stands for.

So your going to build a motor and not bother taking out the shit transmission, to blow it up, TO DO MORE WORK?

You're going to have to pull out the drive to replace that ridiculous 4.27 diff or whatever you have. Why not put in a real transmission?

Definitely going to track this project, I have been tossing around the idea of turboing my 325i as well.

It will happen, just give me time. Everyone says the auto cant hold boost so it should be 5 speed soon enough.

That changes when you get a 5 speed.
4.10 felt long in an auto e30 I drove before I pulled the diff to use in a 5spd

I know that, If I do 5 speed I will likely run a 3.73LSD. One of my friends has a nice 5 speed E30 and we go on drives together and he shifts 3 times before I even get to 60. He takes off pretty quick but I beat him to 60 pretty easy.

It's ok to admit you don't know how to drive a 5 speed.
