It's not necessarily overheat, the deck on B35 engines is thin and the load from the head studs can crack it. B34 blocks have more meat there.

sooo big issue. Block has about 5 cracks. need a new block.

also cylinder is coolant washed.

got a crack free block and machined crank from Titan Omega. Can finally start putting the M30 together.

you can see why im doing the m30 swap now, m20s block has been cracked for over a year now due to a pretty bad overheat last year

All this talk about cracks got me mixed up. Cracks, Cracks everywhere !

I could probably imagine. 23psi pull that blows a block would have to be a wicked ass pull.

got some more done today.

stripped out a bit of sound deadening to make some more room for everything.

where the rad support mounts(will be using different hardware)



clearance for a bigger intercooler as well you can see I made it so teh upper half slide around the lower half which makes it really sturdy.


couple hours later and its done and looks better than before.
