I used the stock driveshaft(the one with studs and harmonic balancer with a revshift 24v adapter guibo, worked perfect.


and I only have 4miles on the M30 becasue it was running hot so I have no clue on handling, but clutch and shifting feels nice and low end torque is good. felt pretty flat past 3k but its not tuned and didnt have a turbo so whatever.

Hmm interesting I'm using a 87 325e driveshaft and found out it isnt direct bolt in. I got to shave 2 inches out of it.

the m30 is notoriously difficult to bleed. I've had success with backing off one of the sensor plugs in the coolant distribution block instead of using the bleed screw, as well as using this method: http://www.mye28.com/viewtopic.php?t=58368

thanks for the link I'll give that a try, I did do the removal of the extra thermostat plug and I did get teh coolant level to drop from where it was but havent driven it since then. I'll update tonight with a video and some pics.
