I just put one in and it's noisy at idle. Also it down revs so fast the car will stall at times.

Advancing the timing at closed throttle as it nears idle can help this.

I do similar but advance it below normal idle so it bounces it up kinda like a spring effect when it tries to dip below.

You can also have higher advance in the idle bins and use 'idle advance' to bring it down after a couple seconds delay which works well(helps with idle control as well)

that was just how they looked after yesterdays tuning. Today I did one pull and shut off at 3krpms when it has its stutter and they were completely black. started leaning it out but havent done another plug pull.

so after driving while tuning I got to about here.
had to lower AE all the way actually to get it to not stutter when going WOT below 3k.

Now I am scaling down map in the stutter zone and hoping to then increase AE to get the throttle response back.

                16 degrees, still stalls.

Yeah, got it bouncing, but will still stall out at lights after higher load/RPM. When in neutral it revs down fine. Will look into the idle advance.

thats strange because I idle around 12degrees and its never stalled out.
starting, idling and decel and stalling are the least of my issues.

are you using a closed look idle control system?

KA there is plenty of resolution in that map to get a good tune. if you are having throttle driveability issues make sure the tps signal is smooth. also it should drive pretty well with zero acc enrichment if you arent transitioning in and out of the throttle quickly. having AE on can confuse things. i would turn AE off and try to do steady state tuning (if you havent already) in a quiet area ifyou can t get to a steady state dyno.

i use AFR500 wideband with ntk sensor and its is very good. avoid the LSU4.2 from what ive read

So I delayed enrichment to after 3500rpms and its much smoother acceleration. It only bogs around 2800rpms hits hard after that.

plug reading after driving on that tune.

That looks better, what temp plug are you running?

using factory temp plugs^ what would you suggest for a cammed ITB setup?

Also got a new wideband and basically turned off everything like ego control and made it so accel enrichment only works below 1500rpms, and lowered req. Fuel to the recommended 4.3.

My wideband wasnt broke I was just simply running 10AFR and it was pulling hard and not bogging or anything.
Car is now running 11AFR floored, 12 at 3/4throttle and 13 at lower range.

However once I lean it out to 13 it looses A LOT of power like doesnt want to rev past 5k. I thought it was just fuel starving and wideband was wrong but after using a different wideband I know thats not the case now.

However if I go WOT below 3k will result in a 9AFR spike no matter what I do, I can take tons of fuel away and its always the rich spike.

the new wideband was dark as coal after one run to 1-4th gear. Not sure why I cant lean it to around 13.afr without it stuttering and running low on power.

Also I auto-xed the s60r in the snow with only FWD....not fun

cleared up after all my runs were done.

Im running megasquirt 2....how do I change the x/y values? I would definitely like more resolution i the off throttle maps

How do you do a dual table setup and what is the benefit?

FIXED! running awesome, cruises, lugs, idles and pulls nicely!.
Problem was that if you switch to alpha N it automatically defaults to a Hybrid alpha with a multiplicitive additional speed density map. The speed density map was ruining everything. I went in and turned off the additional map and it was instantly better. Started datalogging and added fuel in.
still working on it but it runs good on this map , may need a but more fuel near 5k but its getting close.

Before any ignition tuning was done I did a base line pull with dynojet settings.

might not look like much but I"m satisfied for now as pulls right upto 7k! the power drop off is my soft cut timing retard limiter, it doesnt just die off there. take these numbers with a grain of salt as always but I use it to do comparisons and tuning with.

I've done 3 runs all which overlayed within 3hp.

Runs done near 12.9-13.1 make the most power and leaner and its not as strong.
