yeah, it just stinks because i did over 17 revisions yesterday because of the wideband saying it was pig rich! borrowing a friends sensor and tuning again today

I saw that when comparing the two. AEM's range is 10-20 and inovate uses 7-22. Besides that they have similar functionality? i guess what i'm asking is if one reads better than the other.

Have you tried resetting and recalibrating the wb?

Ok. We most likely got the same TPS then. Keith sent me an alpha n map, is that what you started with?

No I didnt know he had one. I had to guess a bunch and just take curves and get general ideas from other motors like s14 and others. im on 22 revisions so far but its running 100x better after yesterdays tuning.

I haven't looked at it yet but I think it's just an msq with the tables configured correctly, not actually tuned for an m20. We will see.

My buddy did the pikes peak hill climb in 2012 and he was using an AEM wideband. His friend, who did a build thread on here (username Zodow) for his e30 turbo Hill Climb car the same year, had troubles with the innovate. He switched to the AEM and that fixed the issues. No experience with the innovate, but I've got an AEM one and it has been great for me.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

How is the new RHD flywheel. I have one sitting in the garage waiting to go in and wanted to see if you had any opinion.

You can buy replacement sensors for the innovate at advance/autozone for like $40. The part # is Bosch 17014

We used to use Innovates exclusively on race cars and found they are a lot less reliable that the AEM for sure. That and the need for constant re-calibration makes the self-calibrating AEM a better choice. That said, I still have an Innovate, I'd like to upgrade to the LC-2 though, packaging is a bit needer and calibration is easier.

It revs so fast, the down rev sounds noticeably faster than a stock flywheel.

quick down and up revs, no complaints, its not noisy, clutch works like stock, perfect fit. zero complaints only positive for the 7lb flywheel.

Definitely not 'pig rich', more on the too lean side... are these cruise or a hard run and shut immediately off and the plugs pulled? any alum specks?
