I think he's talking about the small led bulbs inside the grill. Not the headlight delete plates

Or perhaps there are leds on the backside of those plates, either way they look sweet.

Well they may be too bright for street use, but I don't drive at night in this car. I did it more as a Just in case thing. Total cost less thsn $100.
Current advantaged- less weight, way more light output, cooler iat, faster cooldown of heatsoaked trumpets. Averaged 25degrees cooler temps on uphill wot canyon runs.

Future additional advantages- I can fit massive charge pipes under them..

So E30 performed AMAZING at auto-x today, cant believe how well this new setup works. Wont know for sure until a day or 2 but may of got top time in my class.

I think Its the first auto-x on ground control coilovers, as well as this motor.

Ok so one more revision for now. Its a nice focused beam that doesn't blind people now. Distance wise it goes around 2x as far as smiley high beams however it does not shine as wide.

hm the headlights are really interesting, really curious as to how it would look with grills running across the sockets too.

nice, how good is the light pattern coming out from behind the grills? does it allow it to point downwards, or is it more like a high beam?
