Kamotors E30-Turbo to ITB M20

Thinking of doing a satin blue on my silver e30. Just on the hood/roof/trunk

The clearcoat on my 5 year old VIS hood has started getting blotchy from UV damage. It looks like there are water spots everywhere, but even buffing has not been able to correct it. The clearcoat is "clearly" damaged. I'm probably going to vinyl wrap it. Easiest cheapest way to make it good again.

AMMO NYC has a video on YouTube that details cutting and buffing carbon fiber. Might want to check that out before you wrap it.

Thanks! I just finished watching that. Unfortunately, I have already tried cutting compound with my polisher and it does nothing at all to cure the blotchiness. Short of sanding off all the clearcoat and then re-spraying I think I'm stuck with painting it a solid color (not something I can do myself) or wrapping it with 3M 1080 vinyl (something I CAN do myself).

Well that kinda sucks buuuuuuut...they do make carbon fiber wrap so why not wrap carbon fiber in carbon fiber? :D
