That's cool that he's able to fix it for you. You have given me some ideas to apply to my car, since mine is in similar condition to yours. I would like to know more about the wet sanding procedure, like what grit you started with, if you used a random orbit sander, things like that. The finish of your car turned out really well. In your post you said you used 1200, is that what you started with?

I used 1200 grit thats it as i said i dont realy care about looks so i didn`t take that much time. all i did was go over it with 1200 wet dry then polish it and wax it. If you have a look on youtube or google you should be able to find some better info.

Thanks for the information on that. I need to do something about the peeling clear coat on my car, and this seems like the cheapest alternative. I just need to find somewhere to do all of the sanding as I do not have a garage, and it was 9 degrees Fahrenheit, -12 Celsius this morning.

Cleaned up the rear hub and trailing arms for the discbrake conversion. When i went to put the pads in they seemed to be to thick but ill keep on with it tomorrow.

Thanks mate. Got it off of ebay Australia. If you are chasing power i would not buy this muffler. I have an M10 in my e30 so i dont car about making power it is just to make the ass end look a bit nicer.

Picked these up today they are used but seem ok. I dont know what brand they are or anything lol but seeing i wont be using this car at a track at all anymore means i dont realy care as long as i loose the 4x4 ride hight that i have now!

Good start so far, looks like a interesting project! Did the car come with a RWC when you bought it?
