Yes, that is generally was play would mean. I really think you're clevis is adjusted in correctly. Janderson had the same issue with his car.

Thread the clevis so that you have some play in the brake pedal. I know you say "I don't know how its supposed to feel" but just try it and see if it works.

So they are applying more force than you want them to? Maybe has something to do with the brake booster clevis? What booster/brake setup are you running again?

No, not necessarily. They are just not retracting. I'm running the stock brakes, relocated booster.

Barely made it home today! The damn brakes are locking up still
